What a year it has been. Like many other wedding photographers (and many, many other professions), it hasn’t been the best year. But silver lining and all, I have been focusing a bit more on a few other things, and family photo shoots being one of them.
Rosie and Freddie booked one of my 1 hour sessions and I had so much fun photographing this photogenic family. My favourite things about family shoots are the energy and spontaneity (planning tends to go out the window when kids are involved). I also love the idea of the photos serving as a memory, frozen in time, as the kids grow up. After all, one of my favourite things to do is go through my daughter’s baby(ish) photos and realise how much she’s grown.
Rosie is already talking about future family sessions, I can’t wait to capture their gorgeous faces as they grow!
